#Photographe #Incontournable
Born in Moscow on the 18th July 1966.
He studies at the French National College of Art and Architecture in Paris. An indescribable artist, Juli Susin is a poet adventurer who, since his first exhibition in Paris at the age of 20, leads a continual exploration into the invisible layers of poetry and art. Since 1987, at 16, rue du Ruisseau, Montreuil sous Bois, later known as La Fabrique des Illusions, he and Véronique Bourgoin welcome artists, historians and friends to devise and realise art projects in the form of publications, experimental films, events and exhibitions. In 1990 in Prague he founds Prager Kreis with Gianfranco Sanguinetti where many initiatives are carried out in the spirit of the great Dadaists. He is also at the origins of the Atelier Reflexe, created in 1994 where, with Véronique Bourgoin they elaborate an educational programme on photographic expression as an art form. Juli Susin has always been interested in publishing and has created in turn several editorial projects with his long-standing associates, Ligne de Mire In 1998, followed by Cosa Nostra Expérimentale In 1989, Fabrique des Illusions… and since 2001, the Silverbridge Editions with Robert Orht, where he devises and publishes limited edition art books alongside international events with artists such as Jason Rhoades, André Butzer, Andreas Hofer, Ralph Rumney, Raymond Pettibon… .
