Graham Macindoe

Born in Scotland, Graham MacIndoe studied painting at Edinburgh College of Art and went on to earn a master's degree in photography at the Royal College of Art in London. He moved to New York City in 1991, working as a gallery assistant for Bonni Benrubi and Howard Greenberg before pursuing a career as a commercial photographer. He has shot advertising campaigns and annual reports for IBM, ESPN, MasterCard, Microsoft and Fidelity and photographed a wide range of subjects for publications including The Guardian Weekend Magazine, I.D., W Magazine and The New York Times Magazine. His work is in many private and public collections including Scotland’s National Portrait Gallery, the V&A Museum in London, the British Museum of Film and Television and the British Council. He teaches photography at Parsons The New School and is represented by Kopeikin Gallery in Los Angeles. He is the recipient of a 2014 Alicia Patterson Fellowship.
