Entrant grants only the preceding rights and retains ownership of and all other rights to their works.
Jurors: Susan and Neil Silverman are a husband-wife team who have
taught and photographed together for over twenty-five years. Their passion
behind the lens is transmitted not only thru their images, but to their
students as well, as they travel and teach worldwide. Their images go to
several stock agencies and they always have a “multi-purpose” thought in
mind when photographing. They have taught for Great American Photography
Workshops, Better Photo.com, Santa Fe School, PPA affiliates, PPC,
B&H Photo, and many more. Their work has appeared on the cover of
Outdoor Photography, in Elle Magazine, der Spiegel, Sierra Club, the Cure,
The Wooden Boat, Nikon World and many more. They now teach and lead
their own workshops—Silverman’s Photography Workshops. Although
they are well versed in Photoshop and Lightroom, they really believe in
getting the image in the camera. They reside in Northern California.
Judging: Preliminary jurying of submitted images will take place online. Preliminary screening may be handled by a committee of professional photographers as required to reduce the final jurying to a manageable number. Final jurying for awards will take place in the Gallery.
Presentation: Dark framing with a white or off-white mat is recommended. Works selected to show must be delivered ready-to-hang. Pieces not meeting standards of quality presentation will not be accepted to hang and other works may be offered their place in the show.
